Dual Multimeter & Calibrator 28C

This instrument allows the process engineer to simulate sensor conditions at the input of a transmitter while simultaneously measuring and storing the resulting signal output. Integral memory allows popular calibration procedures to be stored for transmitter testing in the field; later calibration reports can be produced.

0-24mA source & 0-300mA measure
0-20mA & 4-20mA pre-set ranges
Voltage output 0-300mV, 3, 10 & 15V
Resistance simulated with 2 & 4 wire
Low resistance measurement 0.01mΩ resolution
High resistance measurement up to 30MΩ
Simulation of RTD temperature sensors
Simulate extensive range of thermocouples with internal or external cold junction compensation
Frequency square wave pulse generator
Set calibration sequences including both ramp & step functions with dwell periods
Ramp, step and dwell functions can be set with 1sec to 60min intervals
